Jessica Kozel grew up in the Midwest and began riding at the young age of 10. A B Level graduate of Pony Club she began her career in horses as an eventer, competing through preliminary level with much success.
Later, having been given the opportunity to start young horses under saddle at warmblood breeding farms in New Mexico, Jessica fell in love with the sport of dressage and never looked back. She is a USDF Silver and Bronze medalist and has shown through I-2, brought several horses successfully up through the levels of the FEI small tour, and has worked as assistant trainer to Lisa Wilcox over the past nine years.
In 2015 Jessica established Jessica Kozel Dressage, where she currently enjoys working with both horse and rider, helping them to develop their skills through the levels using the Classical system.
