Gulf Shore Equestrian Center offers full service training, and boarding year round. Each individual horse's schedule is developed by professional Dressage trainer Ralea Casperson. Both full and partial training packages are available. Ralea's training methods include developing the horse extensively in-hand and on long lines, cross training, cavelleti work and taking the horses off site to produce a well-rounded and safe horse, while working proficiently in Classical Dressage to produce ultimate lightness and self-carriage.


Ralea specializes in developing both the seasoned horse and starting young horses and re-training problem horses in Classical Dressage all the way through the levels. She is known for helping and "fixing" the dangerous, nervous, agressive horse, this includes and not limits to horses that rear going into the ring, bolting on centerline, sticky horses, bit grabbers and big spookers to name a few. She has an extensive background in starting, training and showing the" problem horse" and stallions. She has started, helped and devolped hundreds of horses through the years with a very high level of success. She does alot with Draft crosses and large horses because of her 6ft 1 frame, she is extremely comfortable and confident around these big guys. All her horses learn to become patient, kind, versitile, safe and belives the horse can only be as competent as the person riding it. She works with many clients to help develop the safety, understanding, and harmonious relationship with a client and their horse. She is very honest and only wants the best for both the horse and their rider.

We accept all breeds, ages and disciplines for the owner that cares to see their horses developed correctly with proper dressage basics.
