Tara Stegen comes to the barn with a vast amount of knowledge. Using her knowledge gained from all of those she has trained with and been judged by to bring you and your horse to the level that you chose. Tara loves to take horses and teach them to realize their ability to do things easier along side teaching the rider how to maximize their aids to do little and gain the best results from their horse.

Tara also will make sure both you and your horse are in balance. By this we are talking about your balance in the saddle and his balance from his shoeing to his muscle structure. If a horse is not muscled evenly how can he perform correctly or respond correctly to your aids as they are applied.

As for the horse that needs rehab or the problem horse.... She will take her time to identify the root of the problem, slowly fix with the help of vets, blacksmiths, acupuncture, saddle fitting or just using good old fashion proper riding. Tara will do this with a kind hand and continuing communication with the owner at all times, providing the owner with the knowledge to decide what they do or don't want done. At the end of the day the object is to make the horse and rider/owner happy and excited to work for their future.
