Sales Description:

Sapphire ISF is a lovely 16.2H 2022 KWPN-NA Dutch warmblood filly sired by the popular stallion Secret and out of the accomplished Elite/Sport mare Ballerina Ceroon, by Oscar. Sapphire is green-broke with roughly 30 days under saddle but is already schooling in the outdoor and hacking out on her own in the big fields. She is confident and nicely balanced under saddle but still needs some miles so is best suited to a competent Amateur or Junior rider with a trainer, or a professional with young horse experience. She is handled regularly and is familiar with grooming, bathing, clipping, and regular veterinary and farrier care. Sapphire is super in her type with top gaits and a lot of expression, a clean slate to develop in the direction of your choosing. Located in Coatesville, PA, radiographs available.

Sire Secret caused a sensation as a just started three-year old and has now confirmed himself as both a performance horse and breeding stallion. He was Reserve Bundeschampion of the 3-year- old Riding Stallions in 2017, Reserve World Champion for 5-year-olds in 2019, and Bundeschampion of the 6-year-olds in 2020 with highlight scores of 10 for canter, 9.5 for trot, and 9 for general impression. In his first foal crops, Secret has cemented himself as a producer of modern types, elastic movement, and top rideability. Secret himself is by the triple World Young Horse Champion Sezuan, who has gone on to success at the PSG/I1 level.

Dam Ballerina Ceroon, a full sister to the approved KWPN stallion Uphill, is from the distinguished Family van Norel breeding program in Holland. She finished a very strong IBOP as a three-year-old in 2009 with an overall 85.5% and subsequently competed up to the Z2 Level (3rd/4th Level) in Europe. Ballerina reached the half finals of the PAVO Cup in 2010 and 2011 and also placed 5th at the National Mare Show in Ermelo. Ballerina has produced numerous First Premium foals, breed show winners, and top riding horses for the ISF breeding program.
