Sale Description: Sandro's Dean
Sandro’s Dean is a handsome, athletic and talented 7-year-old Hanoverian gelding by Sonntagskind (Sandro Hit) and Caprianna (Contucci). He has an active and elastic walk with excellent overreach, flowing trot, and a beautiful uphill canter. He has been shown through Third Level by a professional with scores in the 70s, and First Level by an amateur, with scores in the high 60s. He’s in full time professional training with John Mason. Judges love him, consistently giving him 8s for his walk, canter, and lateral work, and 7s on his flying changes. He has received several high point and reserve high point awards at recognized shows. Dean will move up the levels with ease thanks to his natural, uphill balance and ground covering gaits. Dean has also been jumped up to 2’6’’ by his amateur owner, and enjoys trail riding. Since he is easy to handle on the ground, and very affectionate and personable, he is a barn favorite! This is a fantastic horse for a confident amateur or professional to bring up the levels.

Update: Dean was shown on March 4th and 5th at the Emerald Classic Show and received a 66.061% at 3-1, and a 66.026% at 3-3 on Saturday, and a 71.212% at 3-1 and a 71.795% at 3-3 on Sunday. He placed 1st in all 4 competitive classes, and received 7s on his flying changes, and 8s on his gaits and lateral work.
