Sale Description: R Star
R Star is a 2010 registered Hanoverian gelding out of the Hanoverian Grand Prix mare, Nova, and by the proven KWPN Stallion, Rousseau. He is about 17 hands, leggy, lean, AND we believe he is still growing.

Comments offered by judges describe him as athletic, elegant, talented, promising, very able, has nice movement, and scores between 7 and 7.5 on gaits in Training and First levels. He placed 6th out of about 30 horses in his Training Level class at the Region 9 SWDC Championships and scored 68% in his First Level test 3 class at the same Championships. Throughout 2015, his first show season, he consistently earned up to 72% on both Training Level test 3 and First Level test 3. He showed 2nd Level in March with scores up to 70%.

He is not spooky at home, in the show ring or around the show grounds. At times, while figuring things out, he looks intently, but without spooking. He hacks about and would be great on trails too.

This guy is playful and lovable with an outgoing personality. He loves attention and bonds closely with his person. When you first arrive at the barn, he will call for you as soon as he hears your voice and/or he will recognize your car and meet you at the pasture gate.

His rider should be confident with a balanced seat, consistent and steady when establishing contact. Star will thrive with an experienced AA or JR in a full training program, or he could be a match for Professional looking for a project as he is still a young horse in his training.
