Gina offers riding lessons in Livermore, CA, clinics monthly in Northern California, and show coaching. Gina's lesson program accommodates riders and horses at all levels of knowledge and competition. She offers private lessons to competing dressage riders, and those seeking to improve their horses and their riding through a greater understanding of dressage techniques. She offers beginning lessons to riders of all ages and has school horses available through her saddle2ride beginners program .
Gina helps her students achieve their riding goals, including winning many awards, both as class and show champions, and as year-end winners in dressage and eventing. A primary focus of Gina’s is on the correct seat and balance of the rider.
Being a successful long-time competitor herself enables Gina to address the emotional as well as the technical aspects of dressage competition. This all-around instruction helps her students to achieve success in the show arena.
Additionally, keenly skilled at matching horses to riders, as well as recognizing horses well suited for dressage, Gina offers her expertise for the evaluation of horses being considered for purchase.
Gina Duran has been a professional dressage instructor for over 20 years, since 1992. She is a member of USEF, USDF, and CDS. Gina has undergone rigorous training and testing to become a certified instructor with United States Dressage Federation.
