Sale Description: Capetown
Proudly offered for sale is Capetown, known as “Simon,” who is by the Selle Francais stallion Jamestown and out of a wonderful Irish mare. Jamestown is by Quidam de Revel, whose line has multiple proven, outstanding jumpers through 1.6m. Simon’s dam competed successfully at 1.35m and has produced very talented, “bomb-proof” amateur-friendly mounts.
Simon is no exception; he is exceptionally brave over fences with tons of scope, and is an uncomplicated, forgiving ride. He has USEF show experience at 1m, 1.1m, and 1.15m with schooling experience through 1.3m and scope for 1.4m+. He has shown and schooled at HITS Ocala, Wellington, HITS Thermal, Thunderbird, Spruce Meadows and more. Simon would make an outstanding Child/Adult Jumper, Amateur/Owner or Junior Jumper. Simon has been campaigned through 1.10m by several amateur riders, and he took a junior to her first show and on up through 1m, including equitation classes. With a soft mouth and willing attitude, he could cross over to equitation medals, and will make an excellent dressage mount as well. He is currently working with USDF Gold Medalist Michelle Just-Williams (www.justdressage.net). Michelle is excited to see his performance and skills build in the dressage arena, and he shows tremendous potential for the upper level movements.

Simon is just as easy on the ground as he is under saddle: stands for farrier, vet, bathing, clipping, etc., is very friendly, and is always the barn favorite. This guy is an absolute gem and is a dream mount for any amateur, junior, or up-and-coming pro!
No history of lameness, has never had injections, zero maintenance - not even a single supplement!

Open to offers in the low-mid five figures.
