This horse is a stand out in all areas. River is calm, confident, eager to please and a head turner. You cannot help but notice his presence. If you are interested in size, movement and a life-long partner who can take you to upper levels in the show ring and trail ride along busy roads and back country, this is the horse for you.
Currently standing at 17.2 hands and still growing. The combination of his father’s (Rubignon– Rubinstein/Donnerhall/Pik Solo) 4 generations of Grand Prix and international performance and mother’s line – Rampal is exquisite! A spitting image of Rubignon with more size coming from his mother’s line.
Interested in a gorgeous large horse you can trust to be level headed? Google Rubignon’s character and movement. River will be blessed with a family who is conscientious about allowing young horses the time and freedom of movement to bloom and flourish. Although he is started under saddle most of his work to date has been through free lounging and handling with techniques taught by Steve Rother, Carol Coppinger (Parelli 6 Star Master) and Shelbie Fredenhagen (Phillip Karl certified trainer). Training has included being ponied on trail rides through urban areas as well as remote trails with steep terrain, roots, mud,and animals. =) River is able to walk, trot, canter, and leg yield in an arena with plenty other distractions. This year we have worked with clinicians Anna Blake (CO) Steve Houston (New Zealand) Jim Briggs (Washington) and Sue Kostad (KY). All have commented on River's impecable temperment and athletic ability for a professional.
River will not disappoint you with his beauty, strength and movement.
If you believe River MIGHT be a match for you, please give me a call. =-)
