Sales Description:
Tonada is a very fun horse to train and work around. She is very intelligent and willing under saddle. She is curious about new objects and if given the chance to check them out , has not been a spooky mare. I live in a cold climate and even when ice chunks slide off of the roof of the riding arena, Tonada rarely even flinches.
She has a natural ability to collect , along with lots of energy so she makes riding very easy. By following the classical process of training and allowing her time to understand and gain strength, she has never been a nervous or tense horse but instead really enjoys the training sessions.
She just turned five and is schooling at second level.
She loads well, is great with the farrier (does not need shoes), has great feet , has no lameness issues, no behavior issues, and is currently pastured with a yearling filly , acting as a mentor.
I have never needed to use electric clippers on my horses so I gave her a score of 4. I do not really know.
