Sales Description:

Davey is a 7yr old gelding demonstrating remarkable talent for dressage, with superb balance and elastic gaits. Consistent First Level scores in the upper 60s to the mid 70s indicate he is ready to move up. Indeed, his first showing at the end of this season performing 2nd Level also brought in mid 60s and 70s for scores. As he gains even more confidence in the ring, he will move quickly through the levels. Davey is sensitive to the aids, cooperative, and possesses a great work ethic, which makes him fun to ride. He is best suited for a confident rider who will appreciate the sensitivity to the slightest of aids, but also tolerant of that same sensitivity which can result in startle/spook reactions. Davey is never dangerous or obnoxious, but does have a spook. Standing just under 16H, he looks, moves, and feels like a much bigger horse. He is the perfect size for most ladies or young riders, with the talent to continue moving up the levels. His beautiful golden coat is simply an added bonus, and presents a stunning picture! His price will increase back to $45,000 April 1st, when he will go back in to full training with my trainer, Helmut Schrant, near Chicago. All interested parties reaching out prior to then will retain the current asking price of $40,000. Current X-Rays on file. Davey has never been sick, lame, or injured, and is a dream to handle in all respects.
