Sales Description:

Presenting Nitro JP, a 2018 gelding by Vitalis out of an Uphill/Contango mare, bred right here in the United States. He is an elegant moving and extremely rideable gelding with a sweet, willing disposition whom is advancing superbly in our young horse program. Nitro has been a perfect gentleman and is solid in his basics. Schooling Training Level with First Level well on the way, he is an absolute pleasure to work with. He has perfect behavior under saddle and is good with trailering, farrier, vet/meds, hacking out, tractors and farm equipment, and loves being groomed, and working of course. His gaits are smooth to sit with definite potential for the upper levels, and flying changes have already been asked for when in the right balance. From a young age, Nitro has had the ability to settle quickly in new environments, which makes him a pleasure to take anywhere. At the schooling shows, he knows when it is time to shine, as he tunes in to the rider and focuses very easily. He is the same horse at home and away, and even if you can’t work him for an extended period of time, he is the same horse first ride back to work. Nitro has been taken over cross rails, and could also make a good hunter or eventing prospect, as he is very aware of his body. Nitro is a compact 16.1/16.2hh with a comfortable barrel shape.

Nitro is an extremely sweet and capable horse, who is willing to do anything his person asks of him.
