O’ Captain, aka “Captain” is a true dressage dream horse! Captain is a beautiful chestnut Trakehner gelding that has shown through the Grand Prix with amazing scores. Not only is he an incredibly competitive FEI horse but he is safe, easy, and comfortable to ride. His correct training shines through in all the Grand Prix movements with highlights of easy tempi changes, beautiful lateral work, and solid piaffe/passage. He is an amateur dream horse but could also be competitive for a professional or a Junior/Young rider. A fantastic horse for anyone looking to show and get noticed!
Captain’s bloodlines are full of Trakehner superstars. His sire Freudenfest was the champion of Neumünster 1999 and has sired many approved premium stallions. Captain’s Grandsire Tolstoi was also the premium stallion at Neumünster so it is clear that great ability runs in his bloodlines. His dam sire Prince Thatch x is also a renowned stallion. He is the most sought-after English Thoroughbred in Germany who is known as an improvement stallion that has much to offer to dressage lines. He adds refinement and lightness to the modern Sporthorse and this can be seen in Captain’s modern build.
On top of all this, Captain also has an extensive and successful show record depicting his education with scores at 70% from third level all the way through the Grand Prix.
